An afternoon of Indian classical music with sitar maestro Shakir Khan

Join us for a very special afternoon of Indian classical music in the company of sitar maestro, Shakir Khan. Shakir Khan is the eighth generation in a long line of musicians, and has performed extensively worldwide. He has also been the recipient of many awards for excellence in the field of music. Shakir is treasured as the highly talented repository of one of the world’s oldest and greatest classical traditions and he is very successfully spreading the essence of Indian classical music worldwide. His performance at Pearse Museum is sure to inspire. Shakir will be accompanied by Nitin Prabhakar (tabla).
